How could be there no wall of frames, narrating a story behind the scenes! There has to be some space dedicated to the frozen memories that you can cherish anytime.

Travel Through a Wall

Are you a traveler who has collected many travel keepsakes through the years? Don’t let them stockpile and gather dust in the corner, bring them out to chic up your wall! You can create a feature wall with your favorite travel photos, posters, or even maps. You can also install a floating shelf for keepsakes that can’t be hung, like beautiful ceramics, figurines, or tableware.

Create a striking mosaic photo wall idea by sticking your colorful square prints to a colored paper/paperboard. Yes, it’s that easy!

Who doesn't love fairy lights and their warm cozy effect in your room. They are inexpensive yet look royal. Simply clip Retro prints or square prints to the strings, and you’ll have a dazzling picture wall ideas in less than 30 minutes.

Grid is the New Love

Either hang it or keep it stationary on your study table or wherever you can feel the vibes. Clip you photos and prop it at your cozy corner.

Split like Germans

Choose 1 of your favorite photos and split it into 2 or 3 parts (you can split it using a photo split app, or Adobe Photoshop). Print the split photos and hang them together on your living room wall.

It is Rusty

Who knew that old window panes can be used as a display for a photo wall? All you need to do is to get the measurements right and fit your photos onto the panes. Old, battered window panes will create a rustic effect, but if you want a cleaner look, you can repaint it.

The Timeline Wall

Here’s another fun photo wall idea. If you want your photos to tell a story, a wall timeline is the right way to go. Collect photos from various eras during your life and place them within the right chronological order along your wall.

If you are a Minimalist

If you favor elegant and minimalist decor, this idea is for you. You don’t need a lot of photos, just pick your 2 or 3 favorite portraits of yours, print them big and hang them on the wall. You can use either framed photos or canvas prints if you want a different style.

Align your photo frames or posters along the wall down your staircase. These wall hanging pictures are guaranteed to create an interesting viewing experience every single time. There’s something about a stairway that allows you to be more abstract with your photos, so feel free to experiment with various types of wall hanging posters, canvas prints, and wall photo frames ideas. Mixing is fun. Use taping, frames, hanging or fairy lights at one place. Make a subtle yet different combination at one wall so that your photo decoration shouldn’t look uniform. Mix any photo prints with framed images, and maybe little props or keepsakes that mean a lot to you.

Retro Wall

Retro is never old-fashioned, rather Retro prints are making their way back to glory. I often used such pictures for scrapbooks and journals, but they can also make a good decor statement when you use them to make a Retro wall. It’s easy, fun, and it doesn’t cost you a fortune. Just print your favorite size and shape to fall in love all over again.

To make this, you can go with a simple way by sticking your photo prints directly on the wall, or add a little something to make it more stylish, for example, thremocol cut and colored in shapes and sizes of your photos or something that can create an embossing look.
