15 Best Travel Essentials!
No matter
how lengthy is your trip going to be - be it a weekend beach getaway or a
three-week abroad vacation — you'll need to pack a bag, and you’ll want to pack
it right with Travel Essentials. I love to pack LIGHT and smart (for the sake
of shopping, my only adventure) so that I have room in my bag. I try to prioritize my "Must have outfits/shoes" and all the small things I need for any
situation.
Most of the work is considered done when the list is prepared before actual packing. First I like to divide belongings into important and less heavy. Though I love fashion and style, but when it comes to computing – I pack what WORKS with different permutations and combinations. There are many factors which determine what goes in: the type and length of trip, itinerary, the weather, the size of luggage, and any weight limits imposed by mode of transportation. And with so many factors at play, it’s easy to overpack or underpack.

I always want someone could make a list
of essentials and I can choose the items accordingly. Honestly there are many, however I find them confusing.
So I myself decided to make a generic
less confusing "Travel Essential List" and to pin down the must-haves
for any kind of travel with no gender bias. This list will have essential travel items I can’t
travel without, but I’m not going to drag you to yawn or bore you with obvious/
generic things like undergarments or your phone. I want to share things that
are seriously going to help you!
Packing Cubes: This is a must, must, must to have
thing. It's so wonderful to know exactly where everything you brought is, as
soon as you unzip your suitcase. There will be no more treasure hunting in your
suitcase, you will find the stuff as and when it is needed without wasting a
single minute. Especially when you travel with kids believe me it's the best
invention! Plus, you can very easily move your packing cubes into the drawers
of your hotel dresser and instantly be done unpacking and ready to go.

Functional BackPack: You might be wondering what's the need
of mentioning functional with this. Do check before taking it in use whether it
is durable and lasting or not. If not buy a new ( I prefer Caprese Bags) one,
because it is one of the most used things on any trip, so it has to be the best, quality wise. I take it on hikes, to the
beach, use it when my luggage gets too full, and it packs up the tiniest
thing too. I name them as "Marry Poppins Bag"
Tiny Pouch: This is the best hack!. Pick your knickknacks, fill this pouch, take it along where ever and whenever you want.
In traveling, there are quite a few things which are needed all of time, this
pouch could save you from fidgeting in ever nook and corner of your purse or bag in search of
those. Additionally, their size allows these little genies to be more portable
and it can fit in any size bag. I also suggest getting leather cord organisers they save those weird wires from coiling and snarling.
Universal Adaptors: All of Europe operates on the same
2 round pronged outlets, Britain operates on its own unique 3 pronged, unlike
India ports are rectangular. So if traveling abroad this is the savior. Ports
are different for different countries, so there are Universal adaptors with all
kinds of pinholes and friendly for all sorts of voltages. You don’t want to buy
5 world adapters to charge them abroad. So, buy ONE. Do make sure to pack this,
else you land yourself just like Alice-in-wonderland.
Comfortable Walking Shoes: I love my feet, and do not want
them to land in any cranky situation. Be it India or any other country travel
does involve a lot of walking. Make sure not to pack brand new shoes or a pair
of sandals. However, that does not mean, tag the oldest along. It has to be
long-continued, comfortable, and low maintenance. Only they can survive those
taxing walks. Gleefully you can walk on air!
Petite Traveling Toiletries: These products could vary with whether situations like on beaches it is humid, deserts are arid, all causing
your hair and skin to react, therefore, moisturiser, suncream, shampoo,
fragrances, etc are preconditioned requisites. Many brands nowadays are selling
their travel kits. It includes shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, shower Gel,
soap, lip balm, shower Cap... so on n so forth. Literally "Small
Wonders".( Or can buy small packagings separately too.) Pick your brand
whichever suits you the best. Herbal ones are my favs on travels specifically,
less time and utmost care is always the motto behind. Thus, you can save a lot
of time, space, rectify weight issues, and provide room for spares. It's a
win-win situation.
Power Banks: Not all the time we can find charging
points, or even if we are lucky enough to find one, have to wait until your
phone is charged. I hate to waste time on such kinds of stuff. Phones are
habitual to drain when they are needed the most. So keep a handy charged power
bank in your dear backpack always. I feel conquered.. hahahah... grasping at
straws for a semblance of victory over these displeasing situations.
Neck Pillow: I feel like mentioning it
constantly for international flights. t’s so necessary! These flight journeys
for prolonged hours are so tiring anyways. This pillow has made me snug as a
bug. It is a “c-shaped” cushion with fleece-like material that makes it so comfortable to head for sleep. It’s so epic. It’s honestly changed my flight
experience so much and I wish to take it even on a 2-hour light for a little
nap.
Travel Towel: A travel towel is key – and I
usually recommend a basic microfiber travel towel, cheap and easy to find. They
also dry really fast. I pack mine at the bottom of my personal item backpack
and never know it’s taking up space but it’s always there when I need it.
Classic Travel Outfits: My go-to travel outfit for
flights, long days, wanted to look cute, dressed up, but still being SO
COMFORTABLE is this: A pair of wide-leg fitted high waist pants with a fitted
tee-shirt that I can tuck in. I usually go with one for all technique when it
comes to bottoms. Like a pair of jeans or pants or skirts or shorts that can go
with multiple tops. I do try combinations of shoes and clothing so that I will
not end up in overpacking and make one match multi. My all-time liberators are
white sneakers or slipons, avoid clutter too. I find them very comfortable,
great for adventure or just city sightseeing and I love that I can wear them
with leggings, dresses, on the plane, whatever. They match it all. Pack weather
and style friendly - the only mantra.
Polarized Sunglasses: I like to keep it simple. The
polarized make a HUGE difference. They look cool and they are practical. If you
are still wearing so not polarized sunnies, it’s time to take the leap. You’ll
never go back!
Utility Kit: Feminine hygiene products, Sewing
kit/clothing care kit, tissues, band-aids, pain and fever relievers, wet wipes,
Deck of cards and travel games for all of your miscellaneous.
Travel Doc Organiser: For overseas travel all of your
important documents needed to be in one place as they are required for
immigrations and other processes. A travel document organizer, holds a
passport, ID, credit cards, coins, documents, a boarding pass, and a pen! By
bringing all your important information together, this will help ensure you
have everything you need to get from one place to the next.
DrawString Fabric Bags: They’re semi-disposable, but
fantastic for packing. I never forget to keep some extras in my suitcase. Trust
me, using them to separate shoes and dirty laundry will totally transform your
return-journey packing experience. Good Point is they are weightless which is
perk while traveling, can lug them along.
Reusable Water Bottle: Buying water all the time could be
tricky and pricey. So why not to carry your own collapsable or normal bottles.
Go for free of BPA, PVC and other harmful chemicals there should be some good
news for body too. Hydration for the nation!
